Our research focuses on the study of nanostructures that are small enough to exhibit quantum effects in their electronic properties. We grow, fabricate, and integrate such nanostructures with photonic materials and study the coupling between light and matter. Such systems offer unique opportunities to perform “do-it-yourself” quantum mechanics experiments and may have important technological applications.
Current areas of interest include Quantum Nanophotonics, Semiconductor Low-dimensional Structures, and Nanotechnology.
